MD Cures Cancer Regatta June 13

Thank you, Doug!

Jim

Just saw your message Doug. Thank you so much!

We're all set!

A correction on the previous message. All three boats are registered in the Spin class, as no one wanted to race alone. So if you decide to register, please register in the Spin Class if you have a Spin rating

Ahoy!

REVOLUTION can be RC. We are RC the following week for the Wednesday and Saturday race.

I can definitely handle it solo with radio signals if I don’t get any crew. Saturday’s wind forecast doesn’t look difficult for me to set an anchor alone.

Doug

With Blue Bayou we now have 3 boats, so we have a race. Amara switched to Non-Spin so it is only one class. There still is time to register until Friday 12:00 noon.

We still need an RC. Easy job. Go to 83 A, anchor, and launch us. Warning signal at 10:00 am, start at 10:05.

To make it easier, I suggest we don't need the flags and everything. Just do it on the radio. Any takers? Amara may be back at North to listen to some music in the evening, beer, or beverage of your choice will be on us for the RC crew!

Michel

We have a new entry, Canis Australis! We are close to having a fleet. Looking at the forecast (which admittedly is early), it should be a nice beat to R2, good weather and good wind.

Hopefully more will be able to do join!

And we need a RC, its a pretty short task, since it is only the start

So we also need an RC to sign up. I have added it to the list on RC sign up.

That RC should coordinate with Keith Jacobs at EYC to see if other boats outside of HHSA have registered. HHS offers 1 free night dockage for any Regatta participants coming from Southern or Eastern Bay.

Currently you cannot volunteer in Club Express, but if we can get a volunteer and email me, abossar@gmail.com, then I can inform EYC and connect with Keith.

Allegiant is gone the month of June to Bermuda, so I cannot be RC nor coordinate so need help from HHSAers!

Currently, only Amara has registered, Firth of Tay had to forfeit due to a series of misfortunes. If no one else come, we will do something else.

There is still time to register. Sailing Instructions were just released and are attached. If some want to register but Non-Spin, Amara will absolutely switch to make it a race.

Michel

Cooinda and crew will be in Bermuda. Good luck with the race!
