Racing Results

HHSA Racers,

We had a great turnout and even better weather for today's race. Twelve boats completed the course to Buoy 82 and back. The wind was consistently 10-12 kts out of the SSE.

Thanks to Matthew Benjamin and the crew of Lyonesse for handling RC duties tonight.

It was great to see so many boats racing shorthanded!

As the Commodore of the Chesapeake Shorthanded Sailing Society (https://chesss.clubexpress.com), consider racing some of the other bay events on the calendar shorthanded. There are some distance races that will have CHESSS division and if we can get enough participants, they will count towards CBYRA awards.

A question for my understanding. We raced non-spin and our ns phrf is 57. However, on the results it's shows 45. Was 45 used and if so why?

Reposting to correct Tranquilo's PHRF and corrected time.

This also caused a shift in finishing places, with Tranquilo moving to third, Resilient to fourth and Amara to fifth.
