A Cruising Life - Cindy Wallach and Laureen Hudson talk living aboard
Join Cindy and Laureen for an evening of experience living and cruising the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
Laureen is an editor, a publisher, a writer, a scuba instructor, a sailor, a kayaker, a traveler, and an obsessive researcher who's chiefly focused on, and delighted with, her husband Jason, her children Rowan, Kestrel, and Aurora, and three ferrets. She's slowly sailing around the world to the right, discovering in her peregrinations, that the world is far smaller yet far more fascinating than anyone gives it credit for being. She holds forth her opinions on that, and life aboard a 47' catamaran, in her blogs on The Excellent Adventure.
Cindy lives aboard a St Francis 44 catamaran with her husband, two children (ages 9 and 16), and salty dog Choo Choo. 2020 marks her 22nd year of full time boat life; both kids have been living aboard since birth. Before kids, she traveled the eastern seaboard to the Bahamas and Cuba. Cindy and her family cruise the Chesapeake now while juggling boat schooling and work as a TV producer/director and script writer. Plans to wander further away again after Covid are in the works.
Sign up for the Zoominar. Submit your questions for CIndy and Lareen here on the HHSA Women Underway Forum ahead of the night.
